Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Otto Larson joined the U.S. Air Force where he picked up his first camera. After 10 years of traveling the world, he settled in Utah, where he attended Brigham Young University pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering.
He then spent the next 24 years in an engineering role in the semiconductor industry, once again traveling to many different locations and countries, all the while interested in the intricate patterns that surround us.
Otto made the break in 2003 to devote his time to his 30 plus year hobby, photographing the details in nature. His photo- graphs show us the details in the simple flowers to the birds and animals that we see day to day.
Otto presently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina where he and his wife, Kathy enjoy the ever changing show of nature.
